The project aims to integrate the underutilized cliffs located behind Beachpark a multifunctional public space on Antalya’s Konyaaltı coast that stretches from the sea to the cliffs—into the public realm, incorporating them into daily life and attracting human activity to the area. The existing public space consists of various zones where people can relax, socialize, walk, and dine. However, the cliff area remains detached from these spaces. By preserving the cliffs’ natural structure and tectonic potential, the design introduces surfaces integrated with the cliffs at different heights.

These surfaces are connected by steps, which also provide a seamless transition from the existing public space. Shell-like forms emerging from the ground create open, semi-open, and enclosed spaces, with increasing enclosure as they relate more closely to the cliffs.

The project aims to enhance users’ connection with nature through its relationship with the topography and its open spaces offering sea views. With its multifunctional areas, it provides a shared space for activities typically dispersed across the city (Parliament of Everyday Relations). By integrating the cliffs into the public space, the project offers not only a passage but also an experiential zone, enriching the public realm.
