This project aims to integrate the unused cliffs located behind Beachpark, a multifunctional urban square extending from the sea to the cliffs along Antalya's Konyaaltı coastline, into the city square. By doing so, it seeks to attract pedestrian flow onto the cliffs, bringing this area into the daily rhythm of urban life. While the existing square provides spaces for people to rest, socialize, walk, and enjoy food and drink, the cliff area currently remains outside these activities and is closed to public access. The project connects different levels of surfaces through steps embedded into the cliffs, allowing a natural transition from the square to the cliffs while facilitating circulation between spaces. Due to the compact topography, shell-like structures are utilized along specific lines, combining open, semi-open, and closed spaces. This layout harmonizes with the topography, offering sea views and allowing visitors to strengthen their connection with the natural environment. Furthermore, the project hosts artistic events and cultural activities, creating an attraction that appeals to people from all parts of the city. By blending natural beauty with cultural elements, it aims to transform the cliffs into a lively and accessible urban area, enriching the Beachpark experience and making it a vibrant destination for locals and tourists alike.
